How we rate tools
Tool ratings on TopAIStacks are composite scores based on multiple criteria. We do not use a single-axis "is this a good tool?" score. Instead, we evaluate across dimensions relevant to buyers making purchase decisions.
Ratings are on a 0–5 scale and are updated when a tool changes significantly.

Reliability
Uptime, output consistency, support quality.

Does this tool integrate well with other common tools in its category?

Data sources
- Official product documentation and pricing pages
- Public user reviews (G2, Capterra, Product Hunt, Reddit)
- Direct product testing where feasible
- Community feedback and reader submissions
- Third-party benchmark reports where available
What we don't do
- We do not claim hands-on testing unless explicitly stated.
- We do not rate tools based on commission rates.
- We do not accept vendor input on ratings or content before publication.
- We do not inflate ratings for tools we have affiliate relationships with.
Pricing verification
Pricing data is checked against official pages at the time of writing and reviewed periodically. Each page shows a "Verified" date. Pricing changes frequently — always verify at the vendor's checkout before purchasing.
Update cycle
High-traffic pages are reviewed every 1–3 months. Tools that change pricing, features, or business model significantly are updated as soon as we are aware. If you spot outdated information, let us know.
